Lexington County Fire Chief Issues Ban on Burning
High winds and low humidity could contribute to the spread of wildfires.

Lexington County residents are banned from outdoor burning until further notice, the Lexington County Fire Chief announced Saturday.Â
Wind gusts of up to 30 miles per hour are expected Saturday with low relative humidity. These conditions could contribute to the spread of wildfires.Â
The South Carolian Forestry Commission has issued a Red Flag Fire Weather Alert.
