Lexington County Republican Party to Elect New Precinct Leaders

The Lexington County Republican Party invites residents to attend its reorganization meetings at 6:30 p.m. Monday. 

New leaders will be elected for the 92 precincts that make up the party. A current voter registration card is required for those who wish to participate in the election process at the meetings. 

Anyone who wants to renew their party membership can also do so at the meetings.

Here are the meeting locations for the different groups of precincts: 

Northern District: 18 precincts - Amick’s Ferry, Bush River, Challedon, Chapin, Coldstream, Dreher Island, Dutchman Shores, Gardendale, Grenadier, Irmo, Lincreek, Murraywood, Old Lexington, Quail Valley, Seven Oaks, St. Michaels, Whitehall, and Woodland Hills.

Meeting Location: St. Andrews Presbyterian Church 6952 St. Andrews Road, Columbia

Southern District: 15 precincts - Chalk Hill, Congaree #1, Congaree #2, Edmund #1, Edmund#2, Emanual Church, Gaston #1, Gaston #2, Mack Edisto, Pelion #1, Pelion #2, Pine Ridge #1,Pine Ridge #2, Sandy Run, Sharpe’s Hill, Swansea #1, and Swansea #2.

Meeting Location: S. Congaree Court Room, 119 W. Berry Road, South Congaree

Eastern District: 19 precincts - Cayce #1, Cayce #2, Cayce #2a, Cayce #3, Edenwood, Hook’sStore, Leaphart Road, Mt. Hebron, Old Barnwell Road, Pineview, Quail Hollow, Saluda River,Springdale, Springdale South, West Columbia #1, West Columbia #2, West Columbia #3, WestColumbia #4, Westover

Meeting Location: West Columbia Community Center, 754 “B” Avenue, W. Columbia

Western District: 10 precincts - Batesburg, Beulah Church, Fairview, Gilbert, Hollow Creek,Leesville, Mims, Pond Branch, Ridge Court, and Summit.

Meeting Location: Gilbert-Summit Activities Center (Gym), 411 Broad Street, Gilbert

Central A District: 13 precincts – Faith Church, Lake Murray #1, Lake Murray #2, Lexington#1, Lexington #2, Lexington #3, Lexington #4, Midway, Mount Horeb, Park Road #1, Park Road#2, Pilgrim Church, and Providence Church.

Meeting Location: Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1430 N. Lake Drive, Lexington 

Central B District: 17 precincts – Barr Road #1, Barr Road #2, Bethany, Boiling Springs,Boiling Springs South, Cedar Crest, Cromer, Edmund, Kitti Wake, Red Bank, Red Bank South#1, Red Bank South #2, Round Hill, Sand Hill, St. David’s, and White Knoll.
