Lexington High Senior Receives Award from Project UNIFY
Kelsey Foster won the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award for her work with the Special Olympics.

Lexington High senior Kelsey Foster is being recognized for her work with the South Carolina Special Olympics.
Foster received the Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award from Special Olympics South Carolina's Project UNIFY, an education-based program that fosters respect, dignity and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities.
Foster received the award for living the organization's lifestyle every day. She participates in unified physical education classes and serves as president of Lexington High School’s “Be a Fan Club” for Project UNIFY. She is also a member of the state and national Special Olympics Youth Activation committees.
