Lexington Man Charged with Taking Pictures Under Woman's Dress at Target
The man ran from the store, but police later arrested him at his grandmother's house.

A Lexington man is charged with voyeurism after police say he lifted a woman's dress and used his cell phone to take pictures underneath it Thursday at the Target on Sunset Boulevard.Â
Michael Paul Hicks, 35, was arrested after police later found him at his grandmother's apartment. He was also charged with simple possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Â
The woman told police she and her three children were walking down the toy aisle around 7 p.m. when she felt someone pull on her dress, according to a Lexington Police Department incident report. She turned around and saw Hicks crouched down behind her with his cell phone under her dress.Â

She screamed and grabbed Hicks, but he pulled away and ran, according to the report. Two Target employees heard the woman and her children screaming and saw Hicks running, so they chased him out of the store.Â
When police arrived, the employees told them Hicks ran into the trees near Best Buy behind Harvest Church, according to the report. Officers reviewed surveillance video to get a description of Hicks and saw that he drove a black pickup truck to the store.Â

Police called the owner of the truck, who said she was Hicks' ex-girlfriend, according to the report. She told police he was probably at his grandmother's house.Â
Police found Hicks in the back bedroom at his grandmother's house, according to the report. They also found marijuana and a pipe under the couch in the room.
When police asked Hicks about the incident at Target, he told them he did take pictures under the woman's dress, according to the report. The clothes Hicks was wearing at Target were found in a basket in the closet. Â
Hicks was booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.Â
