Lexington One Educational Foundation, Chamber Honor Top Seniors
The district and the chamber recognized seniors in the top 10 percent of their classes at a ceremony.
The Lexington County School District One Educational Foundation and the Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center recently honored students in the top 10 percent of senior classes from the district's four high schools. Â
During the Celebration of Excellence on Feb. 26, the students were inducted into the Old English Society, established by the Educational Foundation to recognize the seniors’ academic achievements. Membership in the society comes with a lapel pin inscribed with the society’s name and the student’s high school letter.
The high school seniors from Gilbert High, Lexington High, Pelion High and White Knoll High also received a flash drive from the Chamber and a gift certificate from the Chick-fil-A in Lexington.
