Lexington Town Council to Vote on Dog Park Rules
Owners will have to pay a yearly fee to let their dogs run at the park.

Rules for Lexington's first dog park have to be approved by town council.Â
Members will vote on the first reading of the policy at their regular meeting Monday.Â
The policy states that owners who bring their dogs to the Hendrix Street park must have their pets up-to-date on all vaccinations. They'll also have to pay at least $30 per year to let their animals run unleashed in a fenced-in area at the park, according to The State.Â
