Local Woman Holds Fundraiser for Richard's Journey

Richard Culliver is a 7-year-old Lexington boy who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in October 2012.

A local sales consultant is holding a fundraiser for 7-year-old Richard Culliver, a Lexington boy with an inoperable brain tumor.

Amy Heydt is a senior consultant with Thirty-One, a line of purses, bags, totes and accessories. People who shop on her website can choose for the proceeds to go to Richard's Journey.

Heydt says 100 percent of the proceeds will go to helping Richard's mother Stephanie with rising medical costs, daily living costs and helping Richard achieve his dreams, which are chronicled on the Richard's Journey Facebook page.
