Love's Travel Stop Coming to Lexington

A large convenience store and truck stop with two fast-food chain restaurants is opening near Lexington this fall. 

Love's Travel Stop is building a new store off Longs Pond Road near Interstate 20 that will feature a McDonald's and a Chester's Chicken, said Jenny Love Meyer, director of communicaton for Love's.

The large convenience store will also sell trucking supplies, Garmin navigation devices, snacks and drinks, and gifts and souvenirs. 

It will also feature amenities for truck drivers, such as showers and large truck parking spaces.

The store is set to open in early November.
