Lexington Technology Center Students Win Awards at State HOSA Competition
Several students won awards for the at the Health Occupations Students of America State Leadership Conference.

Members of the Health Occupations Students of America chapter at the Lexington Technology Center competed at the State Leadership Conference held by the South Carolina HOSA chapter.
Lexington Technology Center students who won first place include: Cassiel Branning, medical terminology; Dacus Fenchel, physical therapy; Kristin Miller, veterinary science; and Jordan Taylor, sports medicine.
The students who placed second include: the creative problem solving team of Bindi Chauhan, Andrew Griffin and Katie Jumper; Ashley Hall, nursing assisting; and Jill Mooney, pathophysiology.

The following students placed in the top six of their competitions: the career health display team of Haley Darnell and Monika Perry; the health education team of Sarah Beth Moore and Jensen Taylor; and Anna Snyder, nursing assisting.
Cassiel Branning, Maegan Gates, Kristin Miller and Monika Perry earned national recognition for their scores on the Health Care Issues Exam.
