Meadow Glen Kindergarteners Celebrate Chinese New Year

Meadow Glen Elementary kindergarten students celebrated the Chinese New Year by learning about Chinese culture and traditions.

During the celebration last month, each kindergarten class visited the school’s Partial Immersion Mandarin classroom where they had the opportunity to make crafts and learn about the holiday.

The celebration gave students the opportunity to participate and experience the excitement of the sounds, food and crafts of a traditional Chinese New Year celebration.
