Police: Man, Woman Stole from Walmart Twice in 1 Week

Police say the pair stole from Walmart and returned two days later to steal again.

Lexington police arrested a man and a pregnant woman who they say shoplifted from Walmart on Sunset Boulevard twice in one week, according to incident reports. 

Lester Antonio Mayorga, 19, and Emily Claire Ryan, 18, are each charged with two counts of shoplifting. 

Mayorga and Ryan are accused of stealing a metal vase, a food container and other household items on March 19, according to an incident report. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $211.83.

The pair returned just two days later, according to the report, and stole baby items, dog items shrink wrap and other merchandise. Those items were worth $168.40.

An officer responded and arrested Mayorga and Ryan just outside the store, according to the report.

They were both booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
