Report: Batesburg-Leesville Woman Charged with Leaving Child in Car While Shoplifting
The 27-year-old was arrested last week at the Walmart on Garners Ferry Road.

A Batesburg-Leesville woman is charged with cruelty to children after police say she left her 3-year-old locked inside her car in the Walmart parking lot last week, according to a report.Â
Police say a security guard at the Walmart on Garners Ferry Road caught Brittney Bryan, 27, shoplifting and called the police, according to The State. When police arrived they found the 3-year-old in the car. The child had been in the car for about 45 minutes.
As of Monday, Bryan was being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.
