Report: SLED Turns Over Video Poker Investigation to State Grand Jury

WIS reports that the investigation was turned over to the State Grand Jury.

Charges may come down soon in the investigation into an illegal video poker operation in Lexington County, according to a report from WIS.

The S.C. Law Enforcement Division has turned over their investigation, which involves Lexington Town Councilman Danny Frazier, to the State Grand Jury, according to WIS.

Frazier wouldn't tell WIS whether he had appeared before the grand jury. Read more from WIS.

SLED agents started investigating Frazier in August after reports surfaced that he was involved in an illegal video gambling operation in Lexington County. 

In a recorded conversation first obtained by the Free Times, Frazier tells a potential business associate how to set up a video poker parlor.

After the audio recording surfaced, . After a short break from town council, Frazier was back to attending meetings and voting on issues.
