Two Lexington 1 Players Selected to Shrine Bowl

Lexington High School's Johnathan Boring and White Knoll High's Alex Brown are among the state's top players to make the Shrine Bowl team.

Boring, an offensive lineman, and Brown, a tight end, join 44 players in the state that will play against the North Carolina team.

The 76th annual Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas is held at Gibbs Stadium on the campus of Wofford College in Spartanburg. The game begins at 1 p.m. on Dec. 15.
