White Knoll High Virtual Enterprise Team Receives Awards at International Competition
The students recently traveled to New York for the competition.

White Knoll High Virtual Enterprise students traveled to New York City to compete in the Virtual Enterprises International Youth Business Summit.
Students at the event competed in the National Business Plan Competition, Global Business Challenge and International Trade Show.
The White Knoll High School Virtual Enterprise team, also known as Southern Splash, won third place in the National Business Plan Competition. Team members included Christina Bradshaw, Brittany Buckner, Kames Davis, Jaime Luevano, Andrew Roof and Brandon Shull.

At the competition, White Knoll High students received the Best Sales Outstanding award for selling more than $80,000 in virtual merchandise and services during the International Trade Show. Team members included Christina Bradshaw, Brittany Buckner, Kames Davis, Trey Duncan Jaime Luevano, Andrew Roof, Brandon Shull, Zach Sweat, Mikayla Urban and Maya Washington. Some team members were also named semifinalists in global business, web design and catalog competitions.
The talented team of students had the opportunity to compete at the international competition after representing their school at the annual S.C. Virtual Enterprise Trade Show in Charleston.

At the state competition in March, the team won first place in best booth design and second place in salesmanship. WKHS students who placed in the top three at the competition included: Brandon Shull, first place in impact marketing; Tiffany Cochran, second place in business cards; Zach Sweat, second place in website design; and Caitlyn Michaelson and Andrew Roof, third place in brochures.
