White Knoll Middle Raises $4K to Fight Cancer

The school participated in Olive Garden's Pennies for Pasta Program.

White Knoll Middle Principal Guy Smith volunteered to give White Knoll Middle students and employees an opportunity to “stick it to cancer” to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

White Knoll Middle collected $4,064 in pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters and placed in the top 10 among schools in South Carolina participating in the Pennies for Pasta program.

Olive Garden sponsors the program for LLS and gives a pasta party for each class that collects the most money at each participating school.
