Employee Arrested in McDonald's Robbery
Two more men arrested; four in custody for weekend heist.

The weekend robbery of a Mount Pleasant McDonald's was apparently an inside job.
Mount Pleasant police arrested a McDonald's employee today for conspiring with the robbers who allegedly held up the Ironclad Alley restaurant on September 3.
George Herman McClain III was taken into custody this morning and is being charged with accessory before the fact of armed robbery for his participation in the planning of the hold-up, according to police spokesman Capt. Stan Gragg.

In addition to McClain, Deron Moultrie turned himself in to investigators on Wednesday and was charged with armed robbery and attempted murder.
Police had previously arrested Joseph B. Whiteside, 27, and Timothy D. Taylor, 20, in connection with the armed robbery that injured one employee.

Taylor was charged with robbery, police said. Whiteside was charged with armed robbery and attempted murder. He was detained using the Charleston County SWAT team.
The robbery happened just before 7 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald's in the Oakland Shopping Center.
