Meeting Tonight on Coleman Plan
Town asking for public input on revamp of Coleman Boulevard.

Town planners will meet with the public tonight to discuss plans for a massive overhaul of Coleman Boulevard, the five-lane thoroughfare that connects the Ravenel Bridge to the beach.
, which call for a more downtown feel for the roadway. Bike lanes, on-street parking, street lamps and replacing a turn lane with a planted parkway are all options meant to add to the downtown feel.
The most controversial aspect of the plan, aside from its estimated $8 million price tag, is a roundabout at the congested intersection of Coleman, Chuck Dawley Blvd., and Bowman Road.
