Oyster Fest Packs Boone Hall

The annual Lowcountry Oyster Roast, sponsored by the Charleston Restaurant Association, attracted an estimated 10,000 attendees to Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant.

The event is billed as the World's Largest Oyster Roast with roughly 80,000 pounds of oysters being served along with an estimated 4,500 gallons of beer.
