Scuba Claus Makes Inaugural Dive
Santa makes daily appearances at the South Carolina Aquarium through Christmas.
If Santa Claus lived under water, would his "Ho, Ho, Ho" sound more like a "Glurb, Glurb, Glurb"?
That's the sort of question — and other stuff about fish and marine life — you can ask daily as Scuba Claus makes dives at the South Carolina Aquarium.
The man in red (presumably outfitted with a wetsuit under the velour) made his inaugural appearance November 25 at the downtown tourist attraction. He will continue with daily 3 p.m. shows through December 23.

Scuba Claus will be swimming with the fish at the Aquarium daily in the Great Ocean Tank, and visitors can hop aboard the Polar Express 4-D Experience for a one-of-a-kind trip to the North Pole, according to an Aquarium news release.
Scuba Claus will join the hundreds of animals in the 385,000 gallon, two-story tall Great Ocean Tank during special dive shows. The man in the big red suit will be on hand to talk about the different animals he's swimming with like sharks, pufferfish and even a 230-pound resident loggerhead sea turtle, Caretta.
