She Needs a Home: Meet Sophie

Sophie2 is a sweet and loving, energetic, curious and well-trained girl who just turned 5 in July.  She loves to play but can be laid back and relaxed as well.

She loves to take long walks and practice the skills she has learned, including sit, stay, come and heel.  She needs someone who can be a leader in a firm, yet gentle way. 

She does best in a structured environment where she knows the rules, and she is expected to follow them. She gets along with other dogs, even though sometimes has to be reminded that she has to share. 

She can be protective, but feeling secure and knowing her role in the family can help reduce her anxiety with strangers. She is very smart and wants to please you. Once you let her know what you want from her, she will give you that and so much more.
