Still Time for Town Day Camps
Mount Pleasant plans a handful more day camps before summer's end.

The Town of Mount Pleasant continues its popular day camp program through the end of the month. Some programs continue throughout the year, but many are in the final weeks. For more information, contact 843-849-2061.
CAMP POTPOURRI
Campers will have theme-based camps. All children must bring a bag lunch, swimsuit, and towel.

WACKY WIZARD FUN

GIRLS WITH ATTITUDE (positive, that is!)
This fun, interactive camp addresses key issues for girls, including discussions on nutrition, bullying, body image, friendship, honesty, and respect. The best part, however, is the focus on fun fitness activities that are done during each session.

CREATIVE DRAMA AND ART CAMP
Let your child work with others on a play and its stage design. The kids will make their own props and costumes, learn stage direction, and be introduced to theater etiquette.

JUNIOR THEATRE CAMP WITH ALTON COX
Take advantage of this musical theatre camp with equal emphasis on singing, dancing, and acting. This camp is taught by a former Broadway performer! Camp ends with an exciting musical revue performance.

SKATEBOARD CAMP
Beginners will learn the basics of skateboarding. Those who already know how to skate will learn new tricks. Participants must bring own board, snack, drink, and safety equipment (helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads).

MOM’S MORNING OUT
Your child will enjoy daily arts and crafts, storytime, show and tell, playing with developmental toys, outside activities, and field trips. In addition, we offer activities such as swim lessons (Park West only) and gymnastics. This program will run in accordance with the public school and the Town holiday schedule. Children must be potty trained and bring a snack to school each day. The age requirement is 3 as of September 1, 2011. The first month’s tuition is due as deposit for enrollment and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
