The man charged by police for a deadly West Virginia music festival crash that killed a local woman has denied responsibility in court papers, according to the Associated Press.
Nicole Miller, 20, of Mount Pleasant was killed at the All Good Music Festival in July. Elizabeth Rose Doran, 20, and Yen H. Tom, 21, also of Mount Pleasant, were injured in the crash.
In replying to a civil lawsuit filed against him, Clay Lewin of Cape Charles, Va., admits he was behind the wheel at the time of the crash, but he said festival organizers were not there to guide him off a steep hill where they had told him to park, according to the AP.
