Here are the top three stories in Myrtle Beach today:
- The Grand Strand Humane Society is hosting free dog adoptions this weekend. The shelter is at capacity and has no kennels to help out new dogs. Stop by the free adoption event this Saturday or Sunday and see if the dog of your dreams is waiting for you. Not only will they waive the adoption fee, you and your new best friend will get a harness, leash, toys, and dog beds. (WMBF)
- Over 300 kindergarteners from Myrtle Beach Early Childhood School performed a Christmas concert last night. The 12 kindergarten classes were cheered on by family and friends, who attended in droves to see the children sing. The concert was organized by music teacher Kim Osborn. The event took place in the school's auditorium. (WMBF)
- Uncork Charleston is helping people relax and unwind this weekend with their Wine Down Your Sunday event. There will be food, plenty of wine options, and house cocktails to help you mellow out. Additionally, guitarist Nikolai Svishev will be on hand to play live music while you unwind. There is no cover, but reservations are suggested. (AllEvents)
