Downtown Myrtle Beach free off-season parking helps businesses and locals (wbtw.com) — If you park downtown, city-metered spots in Myrtle Beach are free from November through February, covering areas between 6th Avenue South and 21st Avenue North out to Kings Highway. Business owners and locals say the off-season break on parking makes it easier to visit the boardwalk and spend money in shops instead of meters. Starting in future years, the free period will begin October 1.
