• Missing Man's Car Discovered Near Trailhead After He Was Last Seen at Apartment. Weeks Later, His Body Was Found in Nearby Lake (people.com) — Local search teams from Pickens County helped recover the body of a 27-year-old man whose car was found near the Clemson Experimental Forest and whose remains were later discovered in Lake Hartwell. Authorities from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Services led multiple large-scale searches before the coroner confirmed his identity, and the cause of death is still under investigation.
