Bon Secours St. Francis announces Sharon Y. Johnson has joined the staff of Bon Secours St. Francis as its new Media and Community Coordinator.
Johnson, a former TV news anchor on WYFF, is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and earned her Master’s Degree from Seton Hall University. Johnson is an award-nominated journalist and has received several recognitions in her field and in the community.
Johnson serves on the Simpsonville Planning Commission, the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Beyond Differences Youth Group Board. She is actively involved and volunteers at Mt. Zion Christian School as the Moms in Prayer Leader and with communications efforts of the Greenville graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Johnson grew up in a small town near Raleigh and has worked as a journalist throughout both North and South Carolina.

Johnson and her husband, Douglas Cureton, live in Simpsonville, along with their two small children Faron and Ramsey.
