Coroner: Wreck 'Instantly' Killed Men in 17A Wreck

Dorchester County Coroner's Office has identified the two men killed Wednesday night in a three-vehicle wreck on 17A near Sullivans Landing Road in Ridgeville.

Honda Accord driver Sheldon George, 41, of Walterboro died of head and cervical spine fractures, and multiple extremity fractures. George's passenger, Steven Tyrone Donaldson, 45, of Walterboro, died of head and chest trauma, and multiple extremity fractures. 

"The driver and the passenger of the Accord were killed instantly," Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet wrote in a statement.

Two people were transported to hospital, one to Colleton and one to MUSC.

S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
