
The U.S. Geological Survey has reported a 2.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, near Miles Jamison Road.Â
The epicenter was reported near the intersection of Brailsford Boulevard and Terry Avenue.Â
This quake is one of many over the last few months in the Summerville area along the active Middleton fault line. The fault line was responsible for the devastating 1886 earthquake that leveled Charleston.
