Masked Robber Hits CVS on North Main Street
Suspect allegedly armed with a hammer demanded oxycontin.
An unknown suspect has robbed the CVS at 301 North Main Street before 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to Summerville Police.Â
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot, 6-inches tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds.
Police say the suspect had his face covered and entered the store armed with a hammer. The suspect allegedly went to the pharmacy, jumped the counter and demanded oxycontin. Staff complied with his demands and gave him an undetermined amount of the medication.

No customers were in the business at the time of the robbery and no employees were injured.
Police could not confirm if the alleged robber was the same as the one who hit a Walgreens last Thursday.Â
