The two Summerville horses . Whisper faced severe chemical burns along his back, and both were malnourished. A man was convicted of their neglect later.

LEARN is the nonprofit in charge of rehabbing the horses. Whisper was nearly adopted out to Country legend Willie Nelson, but now the horse will remain a fixture at the Ravenel facility.
