Summerville SPCA Burglarized Monday Night

No one likes a thief, but there might be more anger towards at least one Summerville area thief after he or she broke into and stole from the local animal shelter.

The Frances R. Willis SPCA notified the sheriff's office Tuesday morning after it appeared their location on Four Paws Lane was broken into. The thief took a donation jar — but it only held $20, according to the report. The alarm for the building went off at around midnight Tuesday. 

Glass to the nonprofit's front door was also busted out.
