SC woman has been missing for weeks since leaving hospital, police say (thestate.com) — Sumter police are asking for the community’s help finding 33-year-old resident Tiffany Nicole Mullen, who hasn’t been seen since leaving a local medical facility on Nov. 20. Investigators believe she may now be in the Atlanta area and urge anyone with information to contact them or CrimeStoppers immediately.

2. Sumter traffic stop leads to drug bust (wach.com) — Sumter County deputies say a traffic stop on Geddings Road led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man and the seizure of more than 150 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The driver allegedly tried to flee and toss drugs before being taken to the Sumter County Detention Center and released on bond, facing trafficking and failure-to-stop charges.

Fashion event focuses on domestic violence (postandcourier.com) — A Sumter-based women’s empowerment group is hosting a domestic-violence awareness fashion showcase this Saturday, Dec. 13, at Good Shepherd Outreach Ministries on Commerce Street. The black-and-white “A Touch of Class” event will highlight survivor support resources, recognize community partners, and donate part of the proceeds to a local women’s shelter. Blinn Call Of Duty Falls To USC-Sumter In NJCAAe National Tournament Championship (austincountynewsonline.com) — USC Sumter’s Fire Ants esports team swept Blinn College 3-0 to claim the NJCAAe Call of Duty national championship, adding a major title for the local campus. The best-of-five match showcased strong play across multiple game modes and capped a standout season for both programs.
