• Aberdeen Man Sentenced to 25 Years in Federal Prison for Conspiring to Distribute Meth (kornradio.com) — An Aberdeen man has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine mailed into Aberdeen and nearby addresses from California. Investigators say about 4.5 pounds of meth were tied to the case, which involved the Aberdeen Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, and the DEA, with sentencing handed down December 4. 
• Governor Rhoden supports Aberdeen business parks with Future Fund grant (hubcityradio.com) — Northern State University just celebrated the grand opening of its new Lincoln Business School building, and Governor Larry Rhoden used the visit to back two new business parks planned in Aberdeen. He highlighted the city’s strong job growth, the need for more business properties, and announced a major Future Fund grant to help complete the parks that aim to boost the local economy.
