• NSU's Winter Commencement held on Saturday (hubcityradio.com) — Northern State University just celebrated its winter commencement in Aberdeen, with more than 100 students receiving diplomas at the Johnson Fine Arts Center. Interim President Laurie Nichols and student leaders shared recorded messages about resilience, relationships, lifelong learning, and gratitude, while biology professor Dr. Amy Dolan delivered the main address to graduates and their families.
   

• Aberdeen City Council address fees for 2026 (hubcityradio.com) — Aberdeen residents could see changes to 2026 water fees as the City Council advances an ordinance tied to the WINS project bringing Missouri River water to town. Finance staff and engineers outlined how rates, reserve funds, and long-term investments might work, while councilors also approved supplemental funding for Parks & Rec and other 2025 city needs on unanimous votes.
