• Happy Hour 'Sweet 16 of '25': Coaching legend Kim Nelson and Disabled American Veteran of the Year Kim Hubers (siouxfallslive.com) — Longtime Sioux Falls football coach Kim Nelson is back on the sidelines, now leading the offense at Sioux Falls Christian after decades at Roosevelt and other South Dakota programs. The story also spotlights Dell Rapids veteran Kim Hubers, honored nationally as Disabled American Veteran of the Year and using her own service and injuries to support fellow veterans.
   

• 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas!' wraps at Washington Pavilion (dakotanewsnow.com) — Sioux Falls theatergoers packed the Washington Pavilion this past week for the touring musical “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!”, which staff say exceeded expectations and created lasting memories. The venue is already looking ahead, with the Broadway musical “Mrs. Doubtfire” scheduled to open there on January 30.
