8 Pounds Of Heroin Found In South Nashville Home: Police
A quarter-million dollars worth of heroin was found in a South Nashville apartment, police say.

NASHVILLE, TN β Metro Police said detectives seized eight pounds of black tar heroin wit a street value of $250,000 from a South Nashville apartment Thursday.
Investigators allege the apartment on McMurray Drive is "the base for area heroin deliveries." MNPD says nearly $7,500 in cash was also found inside the apartment.

Detectives allege Alejandro Larcia-Montes, 23, delivered felony amounts of heroin to multiple Nashville locations. He was arrested late Thursday afternoon at Briley Parkway and Gallatin Pike and charged with five counts of selling heroin and unlawful heroin possession. Larcia-Montesβ bond is set at $195,000.
His girlfriend, Tantiana Gonzales-Sardo, 36, is also charged with unlawful heroin possession. She is being held in lieu of $100,000.
