Arson Charged In Antioch Apartment Fire
A 25-year-old man set five fires inside his Hamilton Church Road apartment Monday, according to investigators.

ANTIOCH, TN β A 25-year-old man faces arson charges following an apartment fire in Antioch Monday.
Nashville firefighters were able to contain the fire to just one unit at Hamilton Creek Apartments on Hamilton Church Road near Murfreesboro Pike and no one was injured, but one man is headed to jail.

According to fire investigators and Metro Police, Tevin Battle, 25, set five separate fires inside his apartment. His mother reportedly told investigators she found her son in the kitchen with something in his hands on fire. She told investigators Battle pushed her out of the door and locked the door.
Battle fled the apartment after the fire started, but was later arrested nearby and, according to MNPD, admitted to setting the fires. He is charged with aggravated arson and is being held on an $80,000 bond.
