CSX Employee Hit By Train, Seriously Injured At Radnor Yard

NASHVILLE, TN β A midday accident at Nashville's Radnor Yard seriously injured a railroad employee Monday.
An employee of CSX was reportedly hit by a railroad car, though it's unclear exactly when or how the accident occurred.

Metro Police were dispatched to the facility wedged between Sidco Drive and Trousdale Drive south of downtown around 2 p.m., though Nashville Fire crews were already on the scene.
MNPD said the employee had "serious injuries."

The 517-acre Radnor Yard, originally built by the Louisville & Nashville Railroad more than six decades ago, is one of CSX's largest facilities.
