Man Shot At Antioch Hotel Not Cooperating With Investigation, Police Say

ANTIOCH, TN — A man shot in the chest inside an Antioch hotel isn't helping to find the people who attacked, according to Metro Police.

Police responded to a shots-fired call at the Holiday Inn Express on Crossings Boulevard near Interstate 24 around 10 p.m. Wednesday and found shell casings inside a stairwell. A short time later, a man arrived at Southern Hills Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the torso. He was then transferred to Skyline.

The victim is not cooperating, police say, and detectives are still trying to determine if he was already at the hotel when he was shot or if he ran inside to escape someone pursuing him.
