  1. Have you noticed more things are pink around Chattanooga? Co-chair Gabby Sanders and Brittany Hennessee visited News Channel 9 to talk about what "Color Chattanooga Pink" is, why it's important to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, and how women in Chattanooga can keep themselves safe with routine screenings.   2. ShowerUp is coming to Chattanooga soon. The Nashville-based nonprofit provides clean showers to those experiencing homelessness and anyone in need by providing mobile showers, hygiene resources, and personal care. It will be in Chattanooga on 12th and Peeple's camp on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. (WTVC)
  3. Deaf-taught American Sign Language (ASL) classes still have spots open. The Chattanooga-based organization Soft Animal is offering virtual Deaf-taught ASL 101 and 102. It is a 10-week course in a one-hour class on Saturday mornings. Students will receive supplemental material and the chance to meet up at least once in person to practice ASL. The course costs $100.   • A new staffing model for Hamilton County schools may bring positive changes. Under a new staffing model revealed by Hamilton County Schools, principals could tailor their staff to meet specific student needs, such as dyslexia, social anxiety, and more in their schools. (WTVC)
  • Fire crews worked for hours to tame a blaze last night. Blue Shift companies responded to a home and worked overnight to eradicate the fire. One occupant made it out of the burning structure before the fire department’s arrival and went to the hospital for smoke inhalation and falling. (Chattanooga Fire Department via Facebook)
  • Parent-teacher conferences are coming up! Starting Monday, Hamilton County Schools will hold parent-teacher conferences until Mar. 3. (Hamilton County Schools)
