  1. Gas prices continue to rise in Chattanooga. The average price for a gallon of gas is now $3.31, up 26 cents per gallon since this time last week and up 53 cents over the last month. The rise in gas prices comes from several factors, including demand in China and the end of the release of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. (WDEF News 12)
  2. The City of Chattanooga and the Tennessee Department of Transportation are set to begin construction on new freeway access ramps for Hamilton Place Mall. Construction on the new entrance and exit ramps will begin in summer. "The project expands the interchange to a full access facility by providing for an I-75 South exit to Hamilton Place Boulevard, and I-75 North access from Hamilton Place Boulevard," according to officials. (The Chattanoogan)
  3. ArtsBuild is searching for three local artists for a year-long paid artist residency. Eligible artists must live or work along the Rossville Blvd. Corridor.
