- The Chattanooga Public Library launched a new exhibit on Friday in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum showcases Americans' responses to the Holocaust through newspaper archives, popular media, and other records of the time. It will be available to view until Feb. 27. (Chattanooga Pulse)
- Chattanooga ended 2022 with a slight decrease in unemployment rates at 2.9 percent. The rate is close to the historic all-time unemployment rate of 2.8 percent that the city reached in spring 2022. (Subscription: Chattanooga Times Free Press)
- A panel overseeing the new Chattanooga Lookouts stadium approved the start of selecting the exact location for the stadium. The survey will take soil samples and conduct routine environmental surveys and is expected to start in the next few weeks. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)
