Jody Barrett of Dickson is among conservatives questioning Tennessee’s new law that protects access to IVF and several forms of birth control, including Plan B. Supporters say the law reassures patients after abortion bans, while critics argue it makes it harder to restrict embryo destruction or emergency contraception in the future. Lawmakers revisit the issue when the General Assembly reconvenes January 13.
