- The Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen are almost ready to adopt a budget for the next fiscal year. They unanimously voted on Tuesday night to approve the ordinance. The budget will be read for the third and final time at the next meeting on Jun. 28. The budget totaled $207.1 million, a 15.1 percent increase compared to the previous budget. (williamsonherald.com)
