Woman Accused In May Franklin Fatal Motorcycle Hit And Run
Franklin Police arrested a 50-year-old woman in a May hit and run that killed a motorcyclist.

FRANKLIN, TN — A 50-year-old Nolensville woman is accused of killing a motorcyclist in a May hit and run in Franklin.
Carey McGowan, 50, of Nolensville, is charged in the May 10 crash that killed 44-year-old motorcyclist Patrick Sturdivant on East McEwen Drive near Carothers Parkway.

Investigators said McGowan hit Sturdivant's motorcycle and then intentionally fled the scene. She is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and failure to exercised due care resulting in death of another.
She is free on a $10,000 bond.
