Culinary arts students celebrate end of semester with final ‘Taste of Liberty' showcase (wbbjtv.com) — Liberty Technology Magnet High School’s culinary arts students in Jackson just wrapped up their semester by serving paid, restaurant-style meals for the community through the “Taste of Liberty” showcase. Nearly 40 students gained hands-on experience, industry certifications, and helped raise funds for food, equipment repairs, upgrades, and school supplies, all at the only culinary program in the Jackson-Madison County School System.

Gas prices continue decline across Tennessee as demand weakens (elizabethton.com) — Drivers in Jackson are paying about $2.64 per gallon for regular gas this week, among the highest metro averages in Tennessee even as prices keep sliding. Statewide, the average has dropped to $2.56, helped by weaker demand, cheaper winter-blend fuel, and relatively low crude oil prices. 4. DRA invests over $6.3 million into West TN communities (wbbjtv.com) — More than $6.3 million in Delta Regional Authority funds are headed to nine West Tennessee projects, including over $1.1 million for Jackson Regional Airport Authority to replace an old hangar with a new passenger terminal. The investments aim to boost infrastructure, jobs, and training across the region, with Jackson’s airport upgrade expected to strengthen transportation access and economic growth for local residents.
