The Johnson City Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for one appointment to the Johnson City Regional Planning Commission. This appointment is scheduled to be made in January 2022.

- Johnson City Regional Planning Commission: Administers the City’s Subdivision Regulations and for advising the City Commission on matters of long-range development policy, zoning and annexation.
- One appointment to fulfil a term expiring July 2023. City residency required.
- The deadline for applications is Monday, Dec. 6. Applications are kept on file for one year. Descriptions of each board and committee may be found online at www.johnsoncitytn.org/boards_and_committees. The City is also still accepting applications through Friday, Nov. 26 for the following boards: Board of Building Codes, Board of Zoning Appeals, Civil Service Commission, Golf Advisory Board, Historic Zoning Commission, Senior Services Advisory Council, Senior Center Foundation, Public Art Committee, and Washington County Board of Equalization.
