Visit Johnson City is pitching recent upgrades at Freedom Hall and ETSU, while Washington County has earmarked hotel tax funds to help secure the event’s long-term future here.

Officers stress that real agencies will never demand payment through gift cards, digital apps, or Bitcoin and urge anyone feeling pressured or suspicious to hang up, verify the caller, and contact 911 for guidance.

Five Science Hill athletes make college choices (johnsoncitypress.com) — Science Hill High School celebrated five standout athletes on signing day, with four baseball players and one volleyball star committing to play in college.
