Food Pantry Organizer Bill Reese and JAMA Board Member Alan Huff accepted the donation on behalf of JAMA. Commissioner Ken Huffine organized the effort, which was a first for this Commission.
A variety of canned foods, cereal, rice, dry beans and other shelf-stable foods were collected. Mr. Reese said that the donations would help fill empty shelves at the pantry, which serves residents throughout the County.
